About Us
Wagner Australia was established in 1977 in Melbourne and has grown over the last 45 years of operation to be an influential market leader in the coating technologies industry. Wagner Australia is a part of the wider Wagner companies that was originally founded by Josef Wagner in Tettnang, Germany 1947. Josef Wagner was a gifted engineer and entrepreneur and was invested in the industrial upscaling of new ideas and how to make them useful on a global scale. Our head office and warehouse is based in Hallam with representatives across Australia and New Zealand.
As part of our 45th anniversary in 2022, the Grand Opening of our new facility began a new era for Wagner Australia. Features include a bespoke state-of-the-art Innovation Training Academy enabling us to invite customers in to be trained, utilising open and closed spray booths, blast rooms, on-site servicing and technical support.
We offer a full suite of industrial, trade (contractors) and DIY products.

Wagner is committed to reducing our environmental impact with a rooftop solar array. Comprising 118 solar panels, the system generates approximately 85,140kWh of clean electricity each year, significantly lowering our reliance on traditional energy sources. Designed with future expansion in mind and supported by EV charging stations, this investment reflects our ongoing focus on sustainability and creating a cleaner future for our customers and communities.
