Why spray?
Spray application is generally 10 times faster than using a brush and 3 times faster than using a roller.
Spraying provides a quicker and higher-quality finish to interior areas such as the kitchen, lounge, bedrooms and ceilings.
Sprayers are extremely efficient at covering uneven or textured surfaces like brickwork or rendered surfaces.
With product innovation, less parts allows for easier clean-up and use of product.
Remember PPE first!
It is strongly recommended that you wear eye protection while spraying. Depending on the type of paint you’re using and the environment you’re in, it may also be appropriate to wear coveralls, gloves, work boots, face mask and/or respirator.
Paint flow adjustment
For the best spray experience, we advise customers to reduce the paint flow (½-⅔ out from full flow). As required, customers can increase paint flow to reach desired result.
On all Click and Paint attachments (except i-Spray), paint flow can be adjusted using the dial behind the trigger. Winding out reduces paint flow, vice versa for increasing paint flow. For i-Spray Click and Paint attachment, use the red dial. 1 = least paint flow, 12 = greatest paint flow.
Dilution stick
Included in the pack of every DIY Wagner sprayer is a dilution stirring stick. Each notch is 10% dilution of water to paint. This can be helpful when spraying thicker paints that require a 10% dilution for application.
Correct spray distance
Using the correct spray distance reduces overspray and provides an even coverage.
Standard Spray Attachment = 5 – 15cm from the surface. Can be sprayed vertical, horizontal or detail (diagonal).
i-Spray Attachment = 20 – 30cm from the surface. Can be sprayed vertical or horizontal.
Airless spray = 30cm from the surface. Can be sprayed in vertical or horizontal. Various tip sizes adjust paint flow and spray angle.
Nozzle directions
There are various directions the click and paint nozzles can be used. Vertical, Horizontal and Detail (except i-Spray). These options allow for the most efficient spraying methods.
Going cordless with Bosch Professional 18V
Wagner is proud to partner with Bosch to bring cordless freedom to Wagner sprayers. All cordless Wagner sprayers utilise the Bosch Professional 18V (Blue) platform, meaning one battery works across multiple products.
Going cordless means no need to worry about finding a reliable power source or constantly fighting the power cable when spraying. Customers can use Bosch Professional 18V, ProCORE 18V & AMPShare batteries across the Wagner lineup.

Understanding airless spray tips
On the Control Pro range of sprayers, Wagner’s High Efficiency Airless (HEA) technology revolutionises spraying. HEA enables the user to spray with significantly reduced pressure and maximum control – resulting in a softer spray pattern and up to 55% less overspray compared to conventional airless technology.

Airless spray tips come in a wide range of sizes. Green octagonal shaped tips are made specifically for Control Pro range. Round edge tips are for the professional range of sprayers (ProSpray & SuperFinish range).
