Can I spray both water based, and oil based paints?

Yes you can, but to ensure a great finish, follow these recommendations:

If using water-based paints, any spray attachment can be used, as long as the paint is the correct viscosity for the sprayer.

For oil-based paints, please do not use the direct feed i-spray attachments, as the oils can weaken the PVC hoses, and cause them to break. Likewise, the slot nozzle will give a poor finish, as it puts out too much volume for such a lightweight material.

The standard spray attachments with these models are a great alternative and will give the user a smooth finish instead. For the absolute best finish, try the Brilliant Spray attachment, which has an even finer spray pattern for a high gloss finish!
